Wig Density Guide

Wig Density

Density refers to the amount of hair used during wig construction and determines the overall fullness of your wig.

At Madrina Hair Co., our wigs are constructed at 220% density, giving you a full, luxurious finish with beautiful volume from roots to ends.

220% Density — Our Signature Fullness

220% density is available across Tier 1 Essentials, Tier 2 Luxe, and Tier 3 Couture wigs.

  • Designed for a fuller finish, 220% density provides:
  • Luxurious fullness from roots to ends
  • Beautiful volume without sacrificing movement
  • Extra styling versatility
  • A fuller appearance at longer lengths
  • The signature Madrina look

Best For:

  • Clients who love full, voluminous hair
  • Everyday glam
  • Layered and face-framing styles
  • Long lengths, especially 22"+
  • Clients who want more styling flexibility

How Our Wigs Are Constructed

As wig length increases, additional hair is used to maintain fullness and create a balanced finished look.

Wig Length Hair Used
12" 12 + 12 / 12
14" 14 + 14 / 14
16" 16 + 16 / 16
18" 18 + 18 / 18
20" 20 + 20 + 20 / 20
22" 20 + 22 + 22 / 22
24" 20 + 24 + 24 / 24
26" 20 + 26 + 26 / 26
28" 20 + 28 + 28 / 28
30" 20 + 30 + 30 / 30

Construction may vary slightly depending on wig style, lace size, and length.

Why 220%?

Longer hair naturally appears less dense toward the ends. Our 220% construction helps maintain a fuller silhouette throughout the length of the wig, particularly at 22"–30", where additional fullness makes the biggest visual difference.

Madrina Tip

Don't confuse density with hair quality. Density describes how much hair is used to construct your wig, while your selected Madrina tier determines the hair collection and features included with your unit.

All three tiers offer our signature full-density construction — simply choose the tier that best fits the hair experience you're looking for.
