Wig Density Guide

Wig Density Guide

Density refers to the amount of hair used during wig construction. Choosing the right density depends on your desired level of fullness, styling preferences, and everyday wear needs.

  • Available in Tier 2 wigs and as the standard density option for most Tier 3 wigs.
  • Maximum fullness from roots to ends
  • Ideal for glamorous, voluminous styles
  • Excellent for long lengths and layered looks
  • Provides the fullest Madrina Hair Co. experience

Best For:

  • Clients who love volume
  • Special occasions and photoshoots
  • Long lengths (22"+)
  • Fuller styling options

180% Density (Tier 3 Exclusive)

  • Available exclusively in select Tier 3 Couture Wigs.
  • Lightweight and comfortable
  • Natural, luxurious appearance
  • Beautiful movement and flow
  • Ideal for everyday wear

Important: Both densities use the same premium Tier 3 hair quality. The difference is simply the amount of hair used during construction.

Our Recommendation

If you're unsure which density to choose:

  • Choose 220% Density for maximum fullness and glamour.
  • Choose 180% Density if you prefer a lighter, more natural look with luxurious movement.

Madrina Tip

Longer lengths naturally appear less full toward the ends. Clients purchasing 24"–30" wigs who desire maximum fullness typically prefer 220% density, while clients seeking a more natural, lightweight finish often enjoy 180% density.
